Dr Nick Balis

For Dr Collie’s surgery at Linley Clinic, we utilize two of Melbourne’s most experienced ocular anesthetists , Dr Karl Alexander and Dr Nick Balis.

Karl Alexander has been working with Dr Collie for many years. He has been the Deputy Director of Anesthesia at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and an Examiner for many years with the Royal Australasian College of Anesthetists. He has a marvelous manner with patients and will make you feel very much at ease.

Nick Balis is a very experienced anesthetist who works with several eye surgeons as well as at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. He also has a very relaxing manner to ensure you feel comfortable during surgery and all of your medical needs are met and that any anxiety is allayed.
